The background for this piece is a large sheet of Nuno felt that was machine free-motion stitched with a variety of colors. Yarn pieces and wet-felted spikes were used to make the 3D forms. These were attached to the felted piece, along with selected beads and a branch that was formed from yarn-wrapped edge roll. The entire composition was handsewn onto a fabric covered gallery-wrapped canvas.
