This piece is an exciting new fiber sculpture recently created by the artist. It is a very large hanging sculptural piece that includes staggered rows of sewn fabric tabs, needle felted wool roving, and couched cotton yarn. The framework consists an armature built with galvanized 1/4" fencing, 9 gauge wire, and foam. Humor is definitely one element conveyed by "Taste Buds Popping, along with a pop culture outragesness.



This piece was displayed at the Texas Sculpture Association's "Will Work for Food" Show that was juried by Charles Eisemann at the ArtCentre of Plano from Nov - Dec 2011.
