This piece features the use of fabric, felt, and polymer clay by incorporating a layered presentation of these elements. The contemporary design portrays a true gaiety of spirit. The abstract form represents the physical and spiritual dance, the arms open and festive, the joyous spirit floating out of and enveloping the form.

Veneralia was an annual festival held to honor Venus, according to mythology. It was comprised of nocturnal dancing and passion in the blooming gardens. The ram is one of the symbols of Aphrodite, so it is not coincidental that some of the clay forms are reminiscent of horns.
